No takers for Pakistan players in IPL

There were no takers of PAK players this year. The Knight riders who have put Pakistani player Sohaib Akthar in the transfer window have got no feelers yet from the other seven teams. According to sources, KKR’s next list had names like Salman Butt and Mohd Hafeez. But the story was just the same - no one came forward for trading. A top official said ‘‘We are not going to take any call on the availability of the Pakistani players in the IPL. Ask the government and they will tell you about their status.’’
